Alexander "Alex" Summers, better known as Havok, is a Marvel Comics mutant. He is the younger brother of X-Men leader Cyclops (Scott Summers). Unlike his brother, Havok absorbs cosmic energy and converts it into powerful plasma blasts he emits from his body. These blasts are often uncontrolled, making it difficult for him to precisely target his attacks.

Havok's powers manifested during a plane crash orchestrated by the Shi'ar Empire, an event that separated him from Cyclops. He was subsequently taken in by a scientist who helped him partially control his abilities. He later encountered the X-Men and joined their ranks, initially struggling to adapt to team dynamics due to his unpredictable powers and rebellious nature.

Throughout his career, Havok has been a member of various X-Men teams, X-Factor, and even led the Uncanny Avengers. He has faced numerous threats, including Sentinels, Mister Sinister, and alternate reality versions of himself. His relationship with his brother Cyclops is complex, often marked by rivalry and differing ideologies, but ultimately rooted in familial bond.
